Brighton is a town which is located on the south coast of United Kingdom. The main economy of this town is from media especially new media. It is also known as Silicon Beach from the 1990s. The natural cosmetics retailer Body Shop also started in this town. Hence the economy of this town is dependent on varied activities.

Apart from a number of schools and colleges, the education in the city is handled by two universities- the University of Sussex and the University of Brighton. These two universities give ample scope to the students for the pursuing of higher education and research in Sussex.

The town has a number of landmarks, the reason due to which there is good footfall of visitors from abroad and also from other parts of the country.
