DSS accepted flats for rent

DSS stands for Department of Social Security. If you see "DSS accepted" on one of our adverts for property to rent on a Mitula Group site it means that the landlord does accept tenants who receive government housing benefit payments.

Some consider that saying no to DSS is a form of discrimination and that it should be against the law for landlords to refuse to let to those who rely on DSS to afford housing. It can often be difficult for large families to find appropriate DSS accommodation as the majority of the property stock available to DSS tenants tends to be smaller townhouses and flats.
