Mansfield is a town located in the county of Nottinghamshire. Coal mining and the textile industry were the dominant industries of this town. These industries declined in the eighties. After the decline of these two industries, the other industries which sprang up in this town includes retail shops, theatre, pubs, night clubs and bars.
