The Isle of Man is a self-governing British Crown Dependency that has a total population of 80,058 people. The main sources of revenue are tourism, banking and manufacturing while agriculture and fishing are also important. The island is famous for, among other things, the Isle of Man TT motorbike race and the famously delicious Manx Loaghtan Sheep. The island is also home to some commercial space expedition companies
The island has its own distinctive flag as well as its own language (Manx) spoken in rural areas.
